Halloween Photo Project 2023

Thanks for your interest in The Halloween Project!
We’ll be creating visually stylized final images from photos taken on location. These photos will include full or partial nudity for some or all of the models involved.
This is a joint photo project between AnnaClaire (@daylights_studio), Evelyn (@after8.boudoir), and Marco (@gphotoak).
The photos below are intended to provide the feel of the images we plan to create. We don’t intend to duplicate any of these in particular, they are solely inspiration shots for us and for you!
Shooting Style and Your Comfort Level
The intent is to create images that are dark, moody, sexually suggestive, and revealing (sometimes subtle, sometimes not so subtle). It is important that you are comfortable with the approach we’re taking, so if you have any clarifying questions, feel free to reach out to us at any time before the shoot!
Some of the groupings and compositions we have in mind will involve being in physical contact with other models.
The Sessions
The photography will take place on location (outdoors), and most likely in the evening.
Our intent is to select locations that will afford privacy and reduce the likelyhood that non-participants will wander in.
You are welcome to bring someone with you that will not be participating in the shoot for safety and peace of mind. That being said, we ask that they need to be someone that respects all the models and will not disrupt the session.
Please arrive camera ready, or as ready as possible given your commute to the location.
- Makeup: Dark and moody makeup
- Hair: Loose, not put up. Lightly curled or straightened is fine
- Nails: Painted or plain both work, just not chipped (if painted, preferably black or red)
- Wardrobe: Although we will be doing portions of the shoot in the nude, we ask that you bring any dark and moody clothing items. We are looking for mesh, chiffon, see through materials like nightgowns and dresses that can open in the front. If you think you have something we could use, bring it! Any and all creative input, props, or clothing additions are welcome.
- If you wear glasses, we would appreciate you wearing contacts for the shoot. It truly helps!
After the Session
Each of the photographers shooting at this event(s) has a different process in how they deliver and retouch images. Depending on how heavily each photographer retouches their gallery, please anticipate a 6-8 week delivery time from each of us.
Each photographer will deliver a retouched gallery to all models participating. The galleries will include finished photos that, in our professional opinions, are aesthetically pleasing. We make an effort to not retouch images that are unflattering or uninspiring.
Every now and then, we’ll take a photo you really don’t like. You might not like the angle, think it is unflattering, or is too revealing. That being said, not liking a photo is different than being uncomfortable with a photo. Once you receive a gallery from any one of us, if there is an image you are truly uncomfortable with, please let us know and we’re more than happy to come to an agreement. This is a collaboration and we want you to have a good experience shooting with us.
We like to be very up front about things, so we’ll write this here:
- You will not get all the files from the session. The processing of the each of these photos is very time consuming. It’s not practical for us to process them all. We do not release unprocessed (unfinished) images.
- We do not ever provide raw files.
- We require that everyone participating signs a release form as these are intimate photos we are shooting. We make sure you are happy with your images and get a final okay from you during the image review process.
- We are looking for models who are happy to collaborate in a positive and friendly environment.
